The 70th Annual Human Services Institute explores opportunities and challenges in Northeast Ohio. Hear John Kania of "Collective Impact," and Stacey Bess, nationally recognized teacher whose story is told in the movie, "Beyond the Blackboard."

Leaders of initiatives to improve life in NEO will discuss their progress, and sessions will address topics related to workforce, children, seniors, community  health, collaboration, and community resources.

Also includes exhibits by community agencies. John S. Knight Center, 77 E. Mill St., Akron, OH. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 18.
