12 Homes in Foreclosure Going to Sheriff's Sale in December
Properties range in value from $82,000 to $325,000
Twelve Strongsville homes in foreclosure are scheduled to go to sheriff's sale in December, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's website.
In November, four homes were sold at auction, and three others were withdrawn from the sale list by orders of the court.
Some properties may be added to or deleted from this list during December.
Building Commissioner Tony Biondillo said city inspectors check each foreclosed home every three months, and make special weekly visits in the summer to be sure the grass is being mowed.
If not, the city does it and bills the owner.
"We physically inspect every one of these properties quarterly," Biondillo said.
Most of the homes on the December list are described as single-frame dwellings with attached garages; one is a condo.
