yes it is the quiet greenbriar drive that is a private drive and has no business being part of the metroparks. its a street people live on for goodness sake. just because the parks meet up to the street doesn't seem fair that they should have to be part of it and its traffic and hellions

Nothing to do with IQ.... I know plenty people who drive to the park for bike rides. Same as people who drive to the park to walk, run, roller blade, walk their dogs, or ride their horses. So you sir sound like an idiot thinking just because it's convenient for your kids to get there. Spend some time with them and drive them to the park. It may be a "public street" but it's a dead end street, you obviously don't live on the street but close enough to feel you should have free reign. If you're all gung-ho on it being a free for all then why let this stop you from letting your kids go that way? And if you aren't comfortable with it anymore then maybe your kids are to young to be going there alone. There's no side walks so that would be my only reason for not wanting my kids roaming through.

James your children should be ashamed of the example you are teaching them. Also those are not the park trails off greenbrier they are the natural environment which you and your special interest bike riding group are making into a bike trail by destroying the natural beauty between the end of the road and the bike trail.which is quite a distance before you come to the official bike trail.. Ps my youngest son is Legally blind so when your 500 cars & bikes decide to ride down our street please remember the speed limit is 25 even though we prefer 15mph do to the fact we do not have sidewalks. Also a bike is to follow all the rules of a car when on the road. think about that when you pass the stop sign at the end of the road. Would a car be allowed to do that?

The park made a beautiful bike/ walking trail for all of us to use.They have designated entry for these trails.The bull dozed trail has been repaired except for the people like yourselves that continue to ride of the road through either neighbors yard & then on a freshly planted temporary construction area..Which we on Greenbrier dr. put up with all that so the respectful law abiding people will have a great place to enjoy. Debbie Palmer, Please come down Greenbrier dr. and take pictures of our homes to show the condition of a working families home also take a picture of the Guard rail at the end of the road . It is replaced every day the park is not using this are to build and repair.Also a boy came down our street claiming to be your son and saying"Do you know who I am?" My Mom owns Patch as he rides right through the neighbors yard on to the newly repaired construction area.It is very misleading when you show a picture that does not depict the truth.

tom just go to the police station tomorrow and fill out a incident report , tell the officer you want to document the many written threats, give the officer the link to the story and let him print off a copy ( not you - let him print it) and just keep it on file

I just re read my messages and I would have to ask you to please point out my threats. I believe in face to face working things out but the slenderest statements made by Jean Willams , Tom M, Kim L and James Murphy about people on Greenbrier is uncalled for and Hateful, Peace to all. Sam

Jean Williams Your heartless words questioning my love or if I care ANYTHING for my son is totally uncalled for." We do not have sidewalks and where do you suggest we put these signs from neighbor to neighbor ?.or would you suggest we request a sign just for pointing out my sons disability.and should we put these signs all over the city where he has and will have to travel to. David is now 16 and can not drive of course so any sidewalks are very important to us as well as a safe dead end street. I am sure you can understand by now why I am trying to reason with you and the others..We have requested more than once for a side walk at least down drake road to the bus stop.
It would be great if you would help us with your free time to contact the city and also request a side walk for all of us to get to and from the public transportation..Please Jean search your heart for some compassion and help us with this community problem of lack of public sidewalks.I hope you and your family are fortunate enough to live in a neighborhood that has sidewalks. Thank you Lyn for your good intentions, I will not speak or bare false witness or judge my neighbor..I still no nothing more than one reporters assessment of the action that took place that Day on the street I live on.In the patch it said that no one was charged with a crime.only that the ICAC took Computers and Files from the home. I would think that any of you would not want your family , friends or neighbors pre judge with out the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. For all of our sake please do not be so quick to pass judgement.Please remember Apathy does not serve us all in a good way. Sorry One more point to answer. I am Not against anyone riding down Greenbrier dr. Please say Hi if you see my family or I . What I am against is the fact that this is not a trail head entry to the bike trail. Walk all you want through the park even at the end of Greenbrier, but please consider that this is not the intended use for the off road bike trail entrance As a mater of fact it is absolutely not an off road entry designated for the use to get to the bike trail. A lot of time and money was spent to plan and build this bike and pedestrians trail including a place to park , enter and meet other Riders and walkers.

Sooo what ever happened with this? The raid, not the Metroparks stuff. This guy getting arrested or what? Don't see how someone can have all this stuff taken away, house raided by a special task force,... and that's it.

Looks like the guy was finally indicted after a 7 month investigation.

Gee thanks Debbie for staying on top of this. There is other news in Strongsville besides the strike. Bruce Mazur changed his plea from not guilty to guilty yesterday. He's court docket says he was in negotiations with the state for quite some time, continually rescheduling his court date. Then yesterday he was found guilty on 80+ charges and will have to register as a Tier II sex offender. I'm wondering what the regulations are on that considering he lives on a park (don't mean the Metroparks but rather the Greenbrier Lake Association). He's sentencing is scheduled for 4/23.
