Arrests Made in Armed Robbery

Incident took place Nov. 26 on Valley Parkway

Cleveland Metroparks rangers have arrested two people in connection with an armed robbery Nov. 26 on Valley Parkway in Strongsville.

Diana Kall, spokeswoman for the department, said one adult and one juvenile have been arrested. Both will be charged with felonies, she said.

Kall said the incident is still under investigation and detectives are not yet releasing any more details.

A police report from that day said three armed robbers stole a man's wallet in the parking lot on Valley Parkway at Pearl Road.

The robber who was holding the gun fired it in the air when they left.

One of the victims called police about 9 p.m. and said he and his friend were sitting in the lot when the three robbers drove up. He said they pointed a gun at them until his friend handed over his wallet.

The two victims drove around the corner to Bonnie Park before calling police, saying they were afraid the gunmen would return.

The suspects were in a Silver Alero, the report said. They were described as two black males, one with short hair and one with an afro, and a white male who was in the back seat.
