Bounce City Site Still Needs a Tenant, But Who?

What would be a good fit at Strongsville Plaza?

More than two years after Bounce City closed, its spot in the Strongsville Plaza remains vacant.

Owners are still listing the 12,000-square-foot anchor store at 14767 Pearl Rd. for lease.

Strongsville Economic Development Director Brent Painter said several businesses have considered moving in over the last two years, but said this week had has not heard of any new tenants eyeing the site lately.

The plaza, which also has several smaller vacancies, has some high-profile tenants, like Kartel's restaurant, Bilo's Bar and Grill and Young Chefs Academy.

And a new tenant, Old Carolina Barbecue, is planning to move in on the first floor of Elevated Fitness.

So what would be a good fit there? What would you like to see in that part of town? Maybe some ideas will help get the ball rolling on that vacancy.

It would be nice to have a Trader joe's in the area. Don't know if itss a good fit for that location, but a lot more vacant spaces in Strongsville where they can put one. It also doesn't have to be in an existing building...the corner of Pearl and Webster has space for one. I have a question about another building, whats happening with the Quality Catering building?

Dave and Busters would fit there perfectly! It would be nice to put a Trader Joe's somewhere close as well, but not in that spot.

Trader Joe's would be great in the Border's building. In Bounce City, I would love to see an old fashioned bakery, where they have all kinds of pastries, plus luscious cakes for company. A one stop store.
