Car Raffle Winner Picked at Homecoming Game
Strongsville High School Athletic Boosters, other groups raise thousands with contest
A Michigan man who bought a ticket from his grandson was the winner of the Chevy Cruze car raffle at Friday night's Homecoming game.
Dave Laurell won the top prize in the raffle, sponsored by the Strongsville High School Athletic Boosters and other community groups.
The 2012 Chevy Cruze LS was donated by Serpentini Strongsville.
Second prize of $700 went to Sharon Monaco of Brunswick.
Gross sales from the raffle were $48,490, according to the SHS website.
