Carol J. Dombrose, who led Angel House Center for Arts and Creative Life Change on Mill Hollow Lane, died Sunday at her home.
"It is with great sadness that Angel House must share that Carol Dombrose passed away peacefully in her sleep last night. She was our own angel, friend, leader and mentor," the Angel House Board posted on its website Sunday.
The board invites anyone who knew Dombrose to visit Angel House to remember or pray.
Visitation is set for 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at Mandley-Vetrovsky Funeral Home in Fairview Park. A service will follow at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, Dombrose played the Easter Bunny at Strongsville's annual Breakfast with the Bunny at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center.
She was best known in the community for running Angel House, which explored spiritual development and creative expression and encouraged guests to discover their unique purpose in life.

So sad to hear of this-Carol was a gentle spirit who exuded compassion for others & allowed them to explore areas of life that were not necessarily mainstream, but valuable nonetheless.

Such a loss to the community, an active Rotarian as well as all she did with the Angel House. She is our Angel now...
