An old-fashioned Christmas is waiting for you at the Strongsville Historic Village, 13305 Pearl Rd., just north of Royalton Road.

The annual event will run the first two weekends in December -- Dec. 1-2 and 8-9 -- from 2 to 5 p.m.

The eight buildings and the grounds of the village will be decorated in the style that covers the 150 years the village represents.

You can tell Santa your wishes, view the model railroad display, make gingerbread houses with Girl Scouts, buy some presents at the Olds General Store, enjoy Mrs. Claus' refreshments, participate in a settlers' celebration with the Bristol Family in the log cabin and more.
