The Chalet Recreation Area in Strongsville, including the toboggan chutes, is available for exclusive use during non-public hours.

Small group party rentals are available Thursday nights from January to March.

Semi-private rentals are available Wednesdays, Jan. 16 and Feb. 20.

You can also celebrate a child's party or family get-together during public hours. Bring a group of 20 to 50 riders and receive a discounted rate, including three reserved tables. For details, call 440-572-9990.

Food concessions are available for an additional fee. No alcohol is permitted during use of the toboggan chutes. 

The Chalet Recreational Area features two 700-foot long refrigerated ice chutes, plus two fireplaces (indoor and outdoor), a main gathering area with a large-screen television, a snack bar, a loft area with video games, and indoor restrooms.

A special surprise for this season is to be announced soon, the Cleveland Metroparks said.
