Seems kind of soon, doesn't it? But the first day of school is only about three weeks away.

First day for students in grades 1-9 is Aug. 22. Strongsville High School students in grades 10-12 start the next day, Aug. 23.

And preschoolers and kindergartners begin classes Aug. 27, according to the Strongsville Schools website.

First day off is Sept. 3, Labor Day.

If you want to look ahead, kids get a five-day weekend for Thanksgiving, with no classes Nov. 21, 22 and 23.

Winter vacation starts Monday, Dec. 24 and runs through Jan. 2, with kids returning Jan. 3.

Spring break is March 25 through April 1. Last day of school is June 5.
