The city will collect household hazardous waste the week of Sept. 10-15 at the municipal offices, 16099 Foltz Parkway.

Bring your motor oil, herbicides, paint, varnish, car batteries, mercury, fluorescent lightbulbs, kerosene, turpentine, adhesives, pesticides, automotive fluids, mineral spirits and other hazardous waste to the white tent between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

No open containers will be accepted. Cap and secure liquids so they don't spill.

The collection is for residents only -- not businesses or groups.
