Harvest Festival Returns to Historic Village

Annual family event is set for Sept. 24-25

 

The Strongsville Historical Society will host a Harvest Festival at the Historic Village, 13305 Pearl Rd., Saturday and Sunday.

Hours each day are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $15 for a family.

Events this year will include a quilt raffle, the famous cow pie lottery, classic car display, farmers' market, children's hands-on crafts, music, entertainment, a food tent, model railroad display and an art show and sale.

The eight historic buildings will be open for tours.

On Saturday, there will be a pig roast in the village at 2 p.m.

Sunday will feature an old-fashioned chicken dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd. Buy tickets for the dinner at the Historic Village or call 440-572-0057.
