Remember the good old days with Cleveland Metroparks "Good Old Summertime," an outdoor event dedicated to taking the entire family back in time for a celebration of summer.
The event is Sunday, July 15 from noon to 5 p.m at the Frostville Museum in Rocky River Reservation.
Enjoy games, kid's crafts, ice cream making and kite flying. You'll also be able to buy frozen treats from Mitchell's Ice Cream.
Members of the Ohio Society for the Elevation of Kites will be making kites and giving kite flying demonstrations. Participants can make their own kites for $3 per kite.
Vintage baseball games between the Whiskey Island Shamrocks and North Baltimore Cyclones take place at 1 and 3 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and settle in to watch the game, played by the rules and customs of the 19th century.
Frostville Museum is located on Cedar Point Road in Rocky River Reservation, between Valley Parkway and Columbia Road/Route 252 in North Olmsted.
