The city has expanded the hours residents can legally have garage sales.
City Council this week amended the city's "home sale" ordinance to allow garages sales to start at 8 a.m.
Previously, sales weren't supposed to start till 10 a.m.
"We're bringing our ordinance more in line with the hours people usually have garage sales," Council President Mike Daymut said.
They can continue to run to 7 p.m.
The measure also allows residents to have sales no more than three days in a row.

I think the city should also fine homeowners who do not remove old garage sale signs within 3 days of it ending (its not that hard to read the address on the sign to find ownership)
