The Strongsville Women's League told me years ago, "you have to be invited to join".
So, I decided to take my talents elsewhere.
Now they are begging women to join, because of the way it was such a "closed group" and only the "IN" women were invited.
The shows that they put on raised alot of money and were the most horrible pieces of "theater" I've ever seen in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only the president of Women's League got to do all the solo numbers. What a joke!
The Director had to pick only the officers to do all the leads. They paid the Director a fortune for what a local theater Director could have produced.
Everyone involved was forced to buy sweatshirts/tee shirts, etc. Thank God they don't put on those awful productions anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully though the years things have changed and it is a better organization, now begging women to join.
