Cleveland Metroparks invites children to make something to be proud of at the new "Santa's Workshop" on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 8, 9, 15 and 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hinckley Lake Boathouse & Store.

Kids can choose from several different crafts to create special gifts for their family and friends, all $5 or under -- build a birdhouse, decorate potholders, make a snow globe or decorate a frame.

No reservations are needed.

Hinckley Lake Boathouse & Store is off West Drive in Hinckley Reservation, between Bellus and State roads in Hinckley Township.
