Letter: Please Help Improve Technology at High School

Student asks voters to support bond issue on Nov. 6 ballot

Dear Residents of Strongsville,

Hi, my name is Trevor Mancuso and I am the president of Strongsville High School P.R.I.D.E. Club.

Pride Club stands for Positive, Remarkable, Incredible, Distinguished, Excellence.

It is a club where we showcase all of the outstanding things that are accomplished year after year, at Strongsville and we work hard to share the pride of our city and schools to people all over the country!

We were created three years ago by our great advisors Mr. Boros and Mrs. Harbart, both Strongsville alumni and very proud of it!

They have helped us to accomplish many great things, helped create the green and white banners lining Lunn Road, raised money for the new beautiful electronic sign at the main entrance of the school.

Other PRIDE projects include planting all of the amazing landscaping at the front entrance of the school thanks to very kind donations, and each week we send out a Strongsville PRIDE e-news to people all over the country.

We have many great things to be proud of here in Strongsville!

However, sadly we can not raise enough money to bring in the much needed new technology and updated school buildings that all of us need to continue to succeed.

Our school may look nice from the outside and everyone may think that Strongsville students have it all here, but truly we don’t.

We might have amazing teachers and amazing programs to get involved in, but we are falling further and further behind in our facilities and technology!

Today all of us students need to know how to use just about every single piece of technology for our future successes.

We need your help Strongsville voters, so that we can keep our Strongsville PRIDE successful students and keep our learning at its highest.

Please vote yes for the Strongsville schools bond issue for all of us students!

Thank you very much!

Trevor Mancuso
Strongsville Student and Pride Club President
