Like Wine? Hear an Expert on Ohio's Wineries and Vineyards
Special event is Aug. 8 at Strongsville Library
Become a Friend of the Strongsville Branch Library by attending the group's annual author event at 7 p.m. Aug. 8.
Patricia Latimer, author of the book Ohio Wine Country Excursions, will talk about her travels through the state.
Books will be available for purchase and a signing will follow her presentation.
Latimer's 2011 edition book is a comprehensive guide that offers wine enthusiasts and armchair travelers alike profiles of more than 60 beautiful and high-quality Ohio wineries and vineyards, including detailed maps, hours, events and types of wine offered at each destination.
Readers will also learn about viticulture and vinification and gain an understanding of Ohio's fascinating wine history.
This program is FREE to all members of the Friends of Strongsville Branch Library. Memberships will be available at the door for $8 per person/family or can be purchased in advance at the Strongsville Branch.
A Friends membership is good for one year and helps to support the Strongsville Branch Library. Your membership fee also entitles you to early entry to all of the group's book sales.
