Employees called Strongsville paramedics, who found the man was wearing layers of clothes and had five watches. He acknowledged he had stolen the merchandise and was running from the store when he suffered symptoms.

Police went to Southwest General, where the man was taken, and recovered items from Banana Republic and New York & Co.

He was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.

A Call You Don't See Every Day

Police were called to the Historic Village Saturday morning because someone needed help with a pig.

The call came at 5:15 a.m. and was apparently from someone setting up for the Harvest Festival, which has a petting zoo.

No Flying while Riding

A bicyclist was stopped on Royalton Road Friday because he was flying a kite from his bike.

The problem was, the kite was flying into other lanes of travel, causing a hazard.

Police stopped the man at Panera and told him he couldn't attach a kite to his mountain bike. The cyclist said he'd take it off.
