Man Goes to Store Wearing Uniform, Impersonates Employee

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

An unusual impersonation attempt was reported Saturday by employees at Sheetz.

Police said a man wearing a Sheetz uniform entered the gas station about 9 p.m., said he was there from another store and was there to help.

He went behind the counter, which prompted the employees to say they would call the manager.

He left.

The manager said the store wants to press charges.

As of now, though, police said the man committed no crime other than trespassing by walking into an employee-only area.

The report said the suspect is believed to be the brother of a former employee.
