The new Rosewood Grill in the Plaza at SouthPark is open for dinner. The Rosewood will offer lunches in the not-too-distant future.
The 10,000-square-foot, 175-seat restaurant will feature a 12-month patio -- open air in the summer, open to the dining room in the winter -- with a heated floor, and a fire pit with soft seating area outside.
Hospitality Restaurants opened the first Rosewood Grill in Hudson in 2009. It also operates Cabin Club (Westlake), Salmon Dave’s (Rocky River), Blue Point Grille (downtown’s Warehouse District), Thirsty Parrot (Gateway District) and Delmonico’s Steakhouse (Independence).
“Building on the phenomenal success of our Hudson location, it just made sense,” said Hospitality Restaurants President George Schindler. Rosewood offers diners a vibrant atmosphere, sophisticated casual décor and an energetic vibe set to the backbeat of vintage “rock ‘n' soul.”
The menu at Rosewood Grill boasts more than 20 dinner choices under $20 and features sandwiches, flatbreads, soups and salads, with specialties including rotisserie chicken, Great Lakes walleye, lobster ziti and eight-hour oven-braised short rib.
Located across from the SouthPark Mall, near the intersections of Interstate 71 and State Route 82 in Strongsville, Rosewood Grill combines 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Like its Hudson location, the focus of the 175-seat dining room and adjoining barroom will be the restaurant’s open kitchen design and exposed-flame stone-hearth oven.
Initially, Rosewood Grill Strongsville’s kitchen will open daily at 5 pm for dinner service with lunch being offered in the near future. The bar room and patio open at 3 pm weekdays with discounted happy hour features.
HR’s Executive Corporate Chef Shawn Cline says Strongsville’s menu has followed suit with that of the Hudson location. “Our success has been created by featuring wholesome," Cline said in a press release. "All-American dishes that are freshly prepared highlighting the finest seasonal ingredients available. It’s a winning recipe we simply won’t stray from.”
Rosewood Grill doesn't take reservations, but you can call 440-783-5500 ahead of time and if there's a wait you can add your name as if you're there.
