O'Charley's is Back, Looking to Build Restaurant Here
Casual eatery is seeking a liquor permit again
O'Charley's restaurant, which applied for a liquor permit here last summer but withdrew the request, is back.
The company is again seeking a liquor permit, signalling its interest in building at 8913 Pearl Rd., between GFS and Lowe's.
The Nashville, TN-based restaurant chain describes itself as a fun, casual-dining family restaurant that is known for its fresh-from-the-oven rolls.
It also offers steaks, chicken, salads and desserts, as well as a Sunday brunch.
O'Charley's operates more than 230 restaurants in the United States, including one in Cuyahoga Falls. There are also O'Charley's restaurants in Canal Winchester (just outside Columbus), Boardman, Niles and Cincinnati.
The liquor permit is on tonight's City Council agenda. Strongsville does not approve the permits, but is given a chance to voice objections to them.
Last year, O'Charley's sought a liquor permit for 9194 Pearl Rd., then rescinded it when it was discovered a typo had put the restaurant on the wrong side of the street. The actual address it listed at that time was 9149 Pearl Rd.
This time, the address is a little farther north.

I hope they build here! We used to go all the time in Mansfield. O'Charley's has the absolute best salsa of any restaurant we know.
