Three new stores with sweet fare are looking to open their doors this month.

Janet Yurcik said she and her mom, Marcia Rehak, hope to open The Cute Little Cake Shop around Thanksgiving.

The bakery will be at 15131 Pearl Rd., in the former Sign-A-Rama store at Strongsville Towne Centre, near Cleats and Plato's Closet. The duo are now operating as a home-based business.

The store will offer more than 70 flavors of cake balls and cake pops.

Malley's Chocolate, which now has a location in Westfield SouthPark, plans to open its new store on Pearl Road just south of Royalton Road the Monday before Thanksgiving, if construction continues to go smoothly.

And in the same plaza, Dunkin' Donuts hopes to also be open a few days before Thanksgiving, a company representative said.
