The annual Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by VFW Post 3345, will step off at 11 a.m. today from St. Joseph Church, 12700 Pearl Rd.
The parade will travel down Pearl Road to the Strongsville Cemetery and end at Freedom Trail, located near the Strongsville Branch Library and Ehrnfelt Recreation Center.
A short ceremony will take place in the Freedom Trail gazebo.
City Hall, the Ehrnelt Recreation Center and the Strongsville Library are closed today.
There will be no trash pickup today. Residents will Monday collection should have their refuse on the curb for pickup on Tuesday.
