Strongsville is already getting ready for annual tree-lighting ceremony

The first decorations have gone up on the City Commons for Strongsville's annual tree lighting ceremony. Mayor Tom Perciak said it may seem like it's too soon, but it's not -- because Thanksgiving falls early this year, the event is less than five weeks away. The hugely popular annual event, which includes Santa's arrival on a firetruck, is set for dusk on Nov 23, 2012.
