An officer on patrol discovered about 3:45 a.m. Nov. 22 someone had taken out a whole section of white fence near the corner of Albion Road and Tanbark Lane.
Officers tried to follow the muddy tracks and checked the area for a car with heavy front end damage.
About 4 a.m., an officer found a piece of plasic undercarriage from a Nissan; another officer found the car it belonged to in a driveway on Idlewood Trail.
A Cleveland man answered the door and admitted he had been driving the Nissan.
