Crews are working at the site of the new Rosewood Grill in the Plaza at SouthPark, although the opening of the restaurant has been delayed by a few weeks.

The new eatery, which will be modeled after the existing Rosewood Grill in Hudson, probably won't open until August.

The restaurant is known for its innovative menu, which features sandwiches, flatbreads, soups and salads, with specialties including rotisserie chicken, Great Lakes walleye, lobster ziti and eight-hour oven-braised short rib.

Hospitality Restaurants opened the first Rosewood Grill in 2009. It also operates Cabin Club (Westlake), Salmon Dave’s (Rocky River), Blue Point Grille (downtown’s Warehouse District), Thirsty Parrot (Gateway District) and Delmonico’s Steakhouse (Independence).

Rosewood Grill will occupy 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space.
