Ledgewood, a still-pricy neighborhood that was once considered one of northeast Ohio's premiere subdivisions, now sits in the middle of Strongsville's poorest area, according to U.S. Census information.

The information comes from a website called richblockspoorblocks.com, which offers median household income for each census tract, provided by the 2007-2011 American Community Survey. 

In the Ledgewood area, median household income is $32,715. 

Of course, also part of that tract are several apartment complexes, including Chestnut Lake and Cherry Tree off Whitney Road. 

The wealthiest neighborhood is an area south of Drake and east of Pearl, which includes the Deerfield development and streets around Falmouth and  Admiralty drives. Median household income there is $107,582.

That's followed by the area south of Royalton Road and east of Prospect that includes The Woods of Strongsville and the Waterford subdivision. Income there averages $104,063 per household.
