Hundreds stood in line at SouthPark Mall Saturday for a chance to meet Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving as part of State Farm's Celebrate My Drive event.
One school district within a 50-mile radius of Strongsville will win $100,000 from State Farm, and one lucky teen who visited the mall on Saturday will win a car.
The winners of both prizes will be announced the third week of October, said Angie Rinock, who handles media relations for State Farm.
There were more than 360 Celebrate My Drive events going on across the country Saturday, but Strongsville was one of only 14 cities chosen for the grand prizes.
The event incuded simulated driving machines and custom-made vanity license plate keychains. It was aimed at promoting driver safety while recognizing that getting a driver's license is a cause for celebration.

Hey Kyrie, people are giving you a lot of praise and even seeming as if the worship the Ground you walk on. Now, indeed you are a very good point guard with a crazy ceiling on your potential. Hey kyrie, This is mike. I know this is only your second year, but I know you will make the playoffs. You are only 20 years old but you are a great leader . Ya everybody is giving you praise but I know you are about the team . Help lead the cavs to the promise land. I have been a cavs fan for 27 years and I havent seen a point gaurd like you since Mark Pice , Terell Brandon , And Kevin Johnson Keep up the good work ,Gooo- Cavs .
