Police were called to Michaud's about 9:30 p.m. May 11 after a scuffle between two girls.

The victim told police she accidentally stepped on another girl's dress, and the girl pushed her, causing her to stumble.

The victim said she was pregnant and suffering stomach pain.

The victim later told police she was not suffering pain, would not be seeking medical attention and did not want to pursue charges.

2 Dogs Found in Woods

A witness reported two dogs in the woods behind Cube Smart, 15910 Pearl Rd., May 12 -- one tied to a tree with a rope and crying, and the other loose, but staying nearby.

The animal warden was called and took the pups -- both boxers -- into his care.

Good Samaritan has Second Thoughts

A Strongsville man told police May 11 he was at Marathon about 7:30 p.m. when he gave three men money for gas so they could get back to Columbus.

But they didn't head toward I-71 when they left, and the resident then started to question their story and regretted giving them his address.

He told police he feared that instead of using the address to repay him the money, they planned to burglarize his house.

He asked officers to check his home to make sure the doors were all locked. They were, a report said.

Ouch

A number of people flagged down police May 12 after they saw a man driving a motorcycle poorly on Royalton Road, saying they weren't sure if the man was drunk or sick.

The driver told police he had just gotten stitches, and ripped them open making a turn.

Toys in the Street

A resident on Timber Edge Place complained about a family on the cul de sac that leaves their toys in the street after going inside for the night.

Police found no toys in the street, but did talk to a resident to advise her of the complaint.
