A Lymans Lane man called police about 6:40 a.m. Monday when he found someone had been in his car -- and apparently slept there overnight.
The seat was still warm, a report said.
Also, the intruder left behind a flashlight, a towel and empty beer cans.
Police took a report and told the owner to call back if he found anything missing from the vehicle.
Officers suspect the intruder may have been a teenager who fled the scene of a hit-skip accident in Strongsville last Sunday.
The Michigan teen, who was driving a stolen car, took off on foot. A couple of businesses reported seeing someone matching his description Sunday night, and someone from the First Lutheran Church said Monday a teen came in Sunday night asking for assistance.
Detective Lt. John Janowski said there have been no more reported sightings of the suspect. Strongsville police are talking to law enforcement authorities in Michigan to try to locate the teen.
