Sprague Road to be Repaved

City won't have to foot the bill for resurfacing

Part of Sprague Road will be resurfaced next year by Cuyahoga County.

Council President Mike Daymut said the road will be repaved between Prospect Road and Marks Road.

Sprague Road divides Strongsville and Berea. The county will pay Strongsville's share of the work.

"The county is paying totally for it," Daymut said.

City Council on Monday agreed to participate in the project.

Mayor Tom Perciak said the only hitch is that the county's plate is already full this summer, which means the project won't be done until 2013.
