The weather was perfect, the reindeer were in fine form and Santa arrived in style at the annual tree lighting ceremony on the City Commons Friday night.

Mayor Tom Perciak welcomed a crowd of thousands that came to see the center of town transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Families got to see real reindeer, take pictures among the lighted displays and warm up with free cocoa, cookies and doughnuts.

New this year was a fireworks show that drew cheers from the crowd. Santa made his annual appearance in a fire truck decked out in holiday lights.
