Vote-by-Mail Applications on Their Way

Registered voters will see them in their mailboxes starting this week

Strongsville voters, check your mailboxes: vote-by-mail ballot applications for November’s election could be showing up this week.

The Secretary of State is sending vote-by-mail ballot applications to all registered voters, and Cuyahoga County voters can expect to see them this week, according to a press release from the county Board of Elections.

This statewide mailing comes after a compromise with the county last year.

Voters who don’t receive their absentee ballot application can check their registration online, and they can request an application on the board’s website, by calling the board at (216) 443-3298 or by visiting the Strongsville Library.

Applications must be received by the board by 6 p.m. on Nov. 2 if being dropped off in person or by noon on Nov. 3 if being mailed.

Registration closes Oct. 9, and the election is Nov. 6.
