Strongsville Women’s League is inviting ladies who live or work in Strongsville to a wine-tasting social event at Olympia Candies on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Cost is $10 and includes wine flights (tasting samples), light appetizers and an evening of socializing with fellow Strongsville women at Olympia, 11606 Pearl Rd.

SWL’s monthly meeting will begin at 8 p.m., after the wine tasting. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Strongsville Women’s League is a fun and active service organization and is accepting new members.  It meets from September to June on the first Wednesday of each month. 

SWL has made significant contributions to the community by spearheading the building of the “Castle” Community Playground behind the library and the Backyard Preserve behind the Recreation Center. In addition, SWL coordinates the local Meals on Wheels program, organizes Strongsville Weighs Less and provides scholarships and funding for many community/school organizations.
