Zombie Job Fair: Apply to Be Undead

Mapleside Farms is seeking actors for fall event

Mapleside Farms will hold what could be the most unique job fair in Northeast Ohio history Tuesday, Sept. 4.

This year, the popular apple orchard and tourism destination in Brunswick is adding Zombie Paintball to its Pumpkin Village series of family-friendly festivals.

Mapleside needs to find 40 people to play the undead, and get shot by paintballs in the process.

The Zombie Job Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 4 at Maplesde Farms, 294 Pearl Road in Brunswick, 44212.  For more information, call 330-225-5576.

On Sept. 15, Mapleside Farms will launch Zombie Paintball, a haunted hayride that will feature participants shooting paintballs at stationary targets and live actors portraying zombies. Each ride will accommodate 20 people and will last about 15 minutes.

Those portraying the zombies will wear uniquely-designed protective costumes.

Zombie Paintball will operate Thursday through Saturday evenings from Sept. 15 to Nov. 3.  For hours visit www.lightupthelivingdead.com. Cost is $15 per ride.
