Residents throughout town are sorting and pricing today in preparation for the first citywide garage sale.
The sale will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday at homes throughout Strongsville.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ward 4 Councilman Scott Maloney said the annual garage sale in his ward has been so popular, he and the other ward councilman -- Mike Daymut, Matt Schonhut and Jim Carbone -- decided to expand it to include the whole city.
The plan is to have the sale every year on the first weekend after school lets out for the summer.

Strongsville City Hall houses a number of city offices and departments, including the mayor's office, the City Council clerk, and the building, economic development, engineering, finance, law, and service departments. The city service garage is adjacent. Police, fire and recreation headquarters are off-site, as are Mayor's Court and City Council chambers, where council meetings are held.
