Want to learn some basic skills in creative cake (and cookie) decorating! You’ll get hands-on experience using frosting tips, a pastry bag, and colored frosting, plus you’ll get to take home your decorated cookies!  All supplies provided.  This is a great program to attend if you’re planning to enter the Bake A Book, Win a Nook

Choose a book from your school's media center or local public library, then adapt it into a cake (or cupcakes)!  Next, enter our Bake-a-Book, Win a Nook ® contest!  Official rules available at the Strongsville branch beginning December 3rd, 2012.

All participants MUST have a Release and Hold Harmless form signed by a parent or LEGAL guardian prior to the program in order to work with food.  Stop by the Strongsville Library to pick up a form, or call the branch if you have any questions.

For teens in grades 6-12.  Registration is required and begins October 1st, 2012.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Strongsville Branch library.

Located walking distance from the City Commons and Walter F. Ehrnfelt Recreation & Senior Center, The Strongsville Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library features a main reading room, meeting room, computer training room and a children's activity area. The 35,000-square-foot building opened in 2003, replacing the previous 13,000-square-foot library on Pearl Road that had served the city since 1971.
