Catan's Kids Fest and Duck Race

Saturday June 1, Pat Catans and the Rotary Club of Strongsville are hosting their first annual FREE Kids Fest and Duck Race at the Chalet in the Metro Parks. The event which runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm has over 26 different activities for kids including pony rides and touch-a-truck. The Duck Race begins at 2:00. Ducks will be available for purchase at $10 each or a flock of three for $20 until 1:00. A nominal fee will be charged for food. The beneficiaries of the event include the Metro Parks and several local charitible organizations supported by the Rotary Club. Parking will be available ONLY at the RTA parking lot off Pearl Road and the Turnpike access road. Several buses will transport people to the event and back, running every 15 minutes. For safety reasons, no parking will be permitted at the Chalet or along the Metro Parks road. Bring your kids and your grandparents. It will be early summer fun for all, and it's free!!
