Kids Touch a Truck -- And Blow the Horn, Of Course

Youngsters get a turn behind the wheel at annual Strongsville Rec Department event

The lure of big trucks -- and loud horns -- brought hundreds of kids and their parents to Strongsville's annual Touch a Truck event Friday afternoon.

Youngsters saw University Hospitals' Life Flight helicopter land and had a chance to peek inside, as well as to climb aboard a fire truck, dump trucks, a SWAT vehicle and even a Zamboni.

The free event, held in the parking lot next to the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center, is sponsored by Strongsville's Recreation Department.
