Rubber ducks, which will race 7/10-mile through the Rocky River, are available for “adoption” for $10 each, or a flock of three for $20. Prizes will be awarded to the owners of the first 10 ducks to cross the finish line – starting with a $2,000 top prize.

Ducks will be launched into the Rocky River at 2 p.m. at the Strongsville Wildlife area and will race to the bridge at the Chalet entrance. Depending on the river’s current, the race is expected to take 15 to 30 minutes.
