CIVIL WAR HOME FRONT DAY

Home Front Day will be a re-enactment of a day in Strongsville in 1862.  Events through out the day will include an encampment of the  29th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, portrayals of a runaway slave and drummer boy plus Mr. and Mrs. Abe Lincoln, Civil War and medical doctors. Ladies Aid Society and Sutler's Tent.  Strolling Musicians and Black River Boys Concert.  Fashions of the Era, Flag Making, Blue Star Mothers, VFW Post 3345, Strongsville Community Theater performers, Bead Stringing, Weopons Display, Children's crafts, Model Railroaders, Letters to and from Civil War Soldiers.  Quilts and quilt raffle, Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Basket Raffle, Refreshment Tent and more.For information call 440-572-0057
