Old Wine in New Bottles, a concert by the B-W Jazztet

The Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music presents "Old Wine in New Bottles" a concert by the B-W Jazztet, directed by Greg Banaszak on Wednesday, April 27 at 8 pm in the Kulas Musical Arts Building, 96 Front St., Berea, Ohio. The concert is free and open to the public.

Consisting of select members from B-W’s Jazz Ensemble, the smaller Jazz Combo, known as the B-W Jazztet, will feature the premiere works of B-W Jazz Emphasis students as well as Jazz standards by Parker, Gillespie, Adderly and others.

Banaszak, director of Jazz Studies at B-W, is one of today's leading saxophonists. He has performed with orchestras and at concert halls throughout the world. He has appeared as concerto soloist and recitalist throughout the United States, also the countries of France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, Egypt, South Korea, The Dominican Republic and Japan. Banaszak is also on the faculty of Cleveland Institute of Music/Case Western Reserve University.
