Hey, Kids -- Learn How to Make a Movie at the Library
Special sessions will teach teens how to make a mythical film
Cuyahoga County Public Library and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History are inviting students in grades 6–12 to create the next Godzilla.
Beginning in March, the library will offer “Mythical Movie Making” in several branch locations.
In these free hands-on video creation classes, participants will learn the basics of digital movie-making. Their videos will be entered into Natural History Museum's Mythic Creatures in Cleveland Video Contest.

A session is set for 6 p.m. April 4 at the Strongsville branch.
Teens should bring digital images or video clips of mysterious local landscapes, dragon lairs, Lake Erie mermaids or urban unicorns. These images will be used to create five-minute films. This hands-on class is the place to start for any teens new to video creation.

Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids will be on display March 3 through July 1 at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
