A synopsis: Despite the earnest efforts to pull themselves together for their father's funeral, the Turpin family proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy and always hilarious.

A colorful and dysfunctional group of Southern eccentrics gather to bury the patriarch of the Turpin family, with the not-so-grieving widow waiting to put "Mean and Surly" on the tombstone.

Directed by Lisa Ortenzi, the show features many cast members from Strongsville, including Rachel Benedict, Richard Bellisario, David Williams, Luka Guzina, Maggie Pawlowski, Cheryl McConnell, Andrea O'Brien and Linda Schneider, as well as Michael Strama of Berea, and Marti and Joe Skarupa, both of Macedonia.
