'Strongsville Weighs Less' Kicks Off Jan. 12

Women's League launches annual get-fit program with health fair

 

Thinking about joining Strongsville Weighs Less this year?

Then check out the Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center.

The event, sponsored by Strongsville Women's League, will feature health-focused vendors and Southwest General Health Center, which will provide free screenings for body mass index, weight, blood glucose and blood pressure.

Participants will weigh in (in a private setting) at the health fair.

Strongsville Weighs Less is designed to motivate participants to get in shape and lose weight with the support of others and a series of motivational health-related talks by local experts.

The final weigh-in and repeat health screenings will be April 6 at the rec center.
