Two Authors Coming to Strongsville Library

One wrote book on parenting, the other writes the 'Hollows' series

Do you worry whether you're making the right choices as a parent? Join Dr. Robert Needlman, pediatrician at MetroHealth Medical Center, as he offers a “Survival Guide for Parents: From Car Seats to Driver’s Seats.”  As the editor of the latest edition of Dr. Spock’s Baby & Child Care, Dr. Needlman will discuss the tried and true basics of parenting and address 21st century issues. He'll answer questions such as: How do I discipline my toddler? Are organic foods really better? Will talking to my child about sex cause risky behavior? How do I protect my kids against online bullying? Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of the Friends of the Strongsville Library.

Kim Harrison is New York Times bestselling author of the Hollows series, which details the misadventures of Rachel Morgan, a witch who works as a private investigator in Cincinnati. The latest in the series, A Perfect Blood, will be released in February and finds Rachel Morgan tasked with solving a crime for which many suspect her to be culpable. A television series based on Kim’s dark urban fantasy novels is currently in development. Kim is also the author of the Madison Avery young adult series and the graphic novel, Blood Work.  She is a member of both the Romance Writers of America and The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.  Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of the Friends of the Strongsville Library and
