A Wild Time at Strongsville Business Expo

Hundreds flock to city's annual showcase of local companies

 

It was a packed house at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center Wednesday evening for the third annual Strongsville Business Expo.

Economic Development Director Brent Painter said the show has gotten larger, with all 100 tables reserved this year.

About 40 percent of the businesses were from outside of Strongsville.

"It's great to see companies from all across northeast Ohio wanting to be involved in our community," Painter said.

Bill Wills from WTAM-AM acted as emcee for the event.

Mayor Tom Perciak said the expo is a way for Strongsville to showcase its unique companies.

"At the end of the day, what we're always trying to do is promote our business community," he said.
