Barking Bullfrog on Track to Open in June
Family oriented sports bar-grill is renovating space at Bennett's Corners
A new restaurant slated for the southeast part of Strongsville is on target for a June 1 opening.
Renovations are on track at the Barking Bullfrog, a family oriented bar and grill that will take over the former store at Bennett's Corners, according to owner Jay Bloesinger.
"I got the liquor license two days ago," Bloesinger said. "Thing are coming along very well."

Bloesinger, who owns on West 130th Street, is taking over the vacant store next door to expand his restaurant into a full-service sports-themed grill that will feature "real good food and a fun atmosphere."
"It's something this area really needs," said Bloesinger, who has operated in the shopping center for two years. "It'll be a place to take the family, relax and have a burger or some pizza."

He said it will feature free popcorn, "ridiculously oversized portions" and eight 42-inch TVs, plus a 96-inch high-definition projector to show sports.
The 3,000-square-foot restaurant will seat about 100 and will be connected with a walkway to the pizza shop.
There will probably be trivia games, but no pool tables or dart leagues in order to keep the family friendly nature, similar to Winking Lizard or .
Bloesinger said he's been getting great feedback from people.
"It seems like customers are just as anxious for it to open as I am," he said.
