A small fitness center has won city approval to move into the former Ethan Allen store at .

The city's Planning Commission voted 5-0 Thursday night on a conditional use permit for Dynamic Fitness, now at 14415 Pearl Rd., to open a full-service gym in the vacant furniture store.

The new facility would use "a different business model" and operate as a full-scale gym with memberships for drop-in workouts, Catanzarite said.

Another gym called Elevated Fitness has plans to move into the former Bally's site on Pearl Road, but Mayor Tom Perciak said it is not yet known if that will happen.
